Help Tenita rebuild her life

Hello my name is Tenita, I am 56 years old and I was diagnosed with breast cancer in September of 2020, I am currently receiving the last two weeks of radiation. My husband and I were diagnosed with COVID 19 in March of 2021. I was receiving chemotherapy treatments during that time and didn’t realize I had COVID because symptoms were the same. My husband never recovered and passed away in April due to the virus.

We did not have burial insurance due to his pre-existing conditions. He was uninsurable and I had to use everything we had to pay for his burial. I have not worked since 2014 and because of my health I am unable to go back to work at this time. Shortly after my husband passed I had an incident for a short period of time. I was unable to walk when I went to the hospital they performed a full body scan which revealed a mass in my ovary. I am scheduled to have that removed in the next 3 weeks.

I have no income at this time and my family has come together to ensure my rent and bills have been paid the last 2 months. It’s very difficult because everyone has bills and it’s a tough time for most right now.

I depended on my husband for transportation, but now that I am a widow and have to drive myself to and from radiation 5 days a week I have found that my car is in need of immediate repair.
