Help Taylor with Cancer expenses

Donazione protetta

My names Taylor Gabel for those who don’t know me. I am a 4x cancer survivor. Maybe not survivor anymore in 6 weeks pending scan and possible biopsy.

A lot of people know cancer in itself can get expensive, especially after the third or fourth time. The cost of the tests again are overwhelming especially being 23 and just having a baby boy 6 weeks ago.

Again, most people know Cancer ruins everything including teeth, the chemotherapy and radiation completely slowly hurtfully ruin them. So I have spent years getting teeth extractions and root canals almost once or sometimes twice a month. At almost 23, I will be the day of the procedure, i’ll be having a big dental procedure that is gonna cost 10,000 after insurance and a good down payment.

I don’t normally ask for help, I always find a way, but right now I am at a breaking point. I don’t expect much considering whats going on in the world right now but just know everything counts and it is appreciated.

Back story on myself.

In May of 2009 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkins, Lymphoma and went through a few surgeries including taking the cancerous tumor out & port placement for a Chemotherapy. I did rounds of Chemotherapy and then 90 days straight of radiation. I was found to be clear of Cancer finally and got to stop the nasty treatment  but never told I was in remission..

My first three month check up we found out it was back through different test and surgeries so it began. I got a hick-men this time so I had tubes hanging out 24’7, much harder to take care of. Reason being, this treatment course included Chemotherapy that was 5 days long 24 hours straight plus radiation PLUS a Bone Marrow Transplant. I spent a lot of time in the hospital this time, especially with the Transplant. The Transplant was supposed to be my savior. Once again, I was told the cancer was gone but not in remission.

My first check up was clear!

My second check-up we found out it was back once again. This time I did a trial drug, which wasn’t bad besides the cost & small side effect but nothing compared to Chemotherapy.

During this time we also lost my father Tom Gabel to cancer so it was very rough.

I finished treatment after having a bad reaction, finally a treatment that wasn’t too bad working, I have to stop.

Life got busy for a while between moving several times I hadn’t been.

Five years later I had a check up & saw something in my stomach, I had it cut out & found out it was the Lymphoma. I had my port placed and did the same trial drug as last time hoping if we did it longer but smaller doses it may do the trick. We did that for a year, had a reaction one time but figured out how to control it and decided to keep going to finish out the plan. At the end of the year I was cleared of the lymphoma!!

3 months later got pregnant with my miracle baby as the Transplant and both times I did the trial could of been ruining my eggs. So we decided to pay the money to have my eggs retrievedand they only got ONE.

Oliver Thomas came on his own April 9, 2020.

Now we are here, my obgyn found what could be cancerous or precancerous in my cervix as well as I had really bad labs and spots show up on a pet scan once again, (not related). We have to wait 6 weeks to do anything with the spots because they are too small. So we will retest then biopsy in 6 weeks.

In the mean time I am in the middle of the big dental procedure, again anything you can do will help a ton towards the dental or cancer bills from the past or current as I am still in about 5,000 in debt from the other relapses.

I also want to make sure as I am having to take care of myself I can still take full care of my son with whatever he needs.

God has a plan, this is part of it & I will do it, maybe with some help but I will come out once again stronger.

My family and I thank you for listening to my story.

You can look me up under WIBW, mostly for the Lemonade stand, to hear what I have done with Cancer Foundations.

For those that do not feel comfortable using gofundme I also have a cashapp and Venmo!
