Help Tatyana fight cancer

Hi all! I have started this go fund me to help Tatyana O'Toole.

This woman is the strongest, funniest, kindest, most compassionate woman I know. She would give her left arm to help anyone she loves. Now is the time for us to help her.....

Most of you know of her cancer/medical journey but if not, here it is:

Fall 2019-Surgery to remove endometrial tissue grown into muscle layer, mesh implanted

2020-Open abscess leaking all year, dressing changes on the wound every 2 days.

Fall 2020-Surgery to remove mesh as it was infected and folded over. Found that the mesh had grown into intestines.

Spring 2021-Hernia developed.

Fall 2021-Surprise appendectomy then surgery to repair hernia and reconstruct abdominal wall.....cancer found in tissue removed

March-July 2022- Chemo bi-weekly

Fall 2022- HIPEC surgery. This entailed removing all visible and tangible diseased tissue, and warm chemo bath ran through abdomen for 2 hours.

October 2022- Declared cancer free!

January 2023- Elevated tumour markers (330), CT showed soft tissue mass in pelvic area

March 2023- Elevated tumor markers (1000), CT showing rapid growth of soft tissue.

So with all the new information, we need to get a plan going.

Tat has spoken with the BC Oncologist, his plan is that he wants to remove the tumor within 6 weeks. He believes that it is not new cancer but instead a small piece that was hidden under scar tissue that the chemo bath didn't reach.

However, Tat has been speaking with an oncologist at the Mayo Clinic in Mexico and they have a different opinion. He feels that with markers at 1000 that it could potentially indicate a different type of cancer and/or more than one tumor.

So with all that said, we NEED to get Tat to the Mayo Clinic in Mexico. This is the best option to fight this cancer and get it gone for good. Tatyana has been paying for all travel with her surgeries, chemo, and doctor's appointments, all on her own however Mexico is a completely different cost. THIS IS WHERE WE NEED YOUR HELP!
