Hello fellow friends and family of Zi Zi Angelica Searles.

It is with immense grief that I must inform you that our beloved coworker, classmate, sister, auntie, daughter, mother and best friend lost her battle with cancer on December 29th, 2021. She leaves behind her two beautiful sons, King (age 10) and Prince (age 5), as well as her husband, Patrice.

Zi Zi was a diverse and brilliant Earth scientist whom dedicated her research and career to studying the effects of climate change and pollution on historically underrepresented communities.

She was also a dedicated Yogi and spiritual practitioner whom continued to honor her ancestral paths until the very end of her life on Earth. ✨
