I'm creating this GoFundMe on behalf of Linda Cassidy, to help support a church family of ours, 20 yr old Sergio Jr (and his family). He is all of a sudden fighting a pituitary (brain) tumor and a tear that is causing him to leak brain fluid. Please pray the surgery to repair the tear works and that they can control the tumor.

A note from Linda…

“I've known Sergio Jr. since I was his second-grade teacher at Nancy Moseley Elementary School in Dallas, TX. He has always been very kind, gentle, and quiet. He is now 20 years old and attends my church, Spence Park Baptist in Balch Springs, TX. He recently discovered that he has a pituitary brain tumor that is in a very challenging location and also caused a tear they are hoping to repair with surgery. He is currently at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, TX.

Sergio Jr. is such an upstanding man. He is smart, hardworking, and cares so greatly for the needs of others even while facing his own challenges.

He graduated high school in 2024 with an associate degree and received a scholarship to the University of North Texas in Denton, where he currently attends. He is majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Public Health. He's currently working as a Public Safety Officer for the Denton Police Department.

He has a loving, caring, and compassionate family, including four younger brothers and his mom and dad (Sergio and Josephene). They also attend Spence Park.”

This is such a sudden challenge he and his family are facing, but we know God is in control and with them every step. Sergio Jr’s light is always shining and God uses him wherever he is! Romans 5:3-5
