In the middle of a severe winter storm, with temperatures dropping below freezing and hazardous travel conditions, the Moyer family (new to Schoharie Valley) is struggling with an unexpected hardship and is temporarily displaced.

With three young children and beloved pets, they are going through a stressful and uncertain time. While they are safe and working through next steps, their immediate expenses include extended temporary housing, transportation, food, gas, and pet care.

Our initial goal will help with temporary living expenses and urgent essential needs.
