We all know our dear Dragon Boat and cancer survivor friend  Norine Rathbone. She has experienced a rough 2017. It started out with her deviated septum surgery in February and continued into April with her diagnosis of MDS. She's been in the hospital for 9 weeks and she's been In the  iCU 3 times and she is currently on a ventilator with a feeding tube and a chest tube to drain her lungs. The doctors never expected her health to take this turn but her devoted and caring husband Ed Rathbone has been continually working every day. plus going to the hospital. taking care of the household and  taking care of Norines dog,ittle man. everyday for 9 weeks (and counting)I met Norine through Dragon boating, about 3 years ago, but she never knew what question was coming her way  when I asked  her," hey do you want to be my friend? Trust me as an adult this isn't a common thing people ask let alone get a positive response. She and Ed have quickly become some of the very best friends I hope you can find it in your heart to help Ed and Norine with any Financial amount you're comfortable with.
