Help Support Lori Fight Breast Cancer

There are times in our lives when we learn a piece of information that makes our hearts sink and illicit great sadness and fear in our bones. As a family, we have been experiencing this for the last few weeks when we heard the news of my mother's diagnosis.

I'm fundraising for my mom, Lori, who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. With little time to delay due to the chance of further spreading, we have decided to seek out expert care from two of the best physicians in another state for intensive treatment. I'm fundraising in particular to cover costs associated with double rent, utilities, costly medical bills (not covered by insurance), travel expenses, and more.

My beautiful mother - a healer, a mentor, strong, and a beacon of hope. She has been a guiding light in the community of Oneonta for over 20 years. She is always the first one to advocate and help those in need. As a counselor at Springbrook, she has helped numerous children and their families navigate their way through hardship. Now it is our turn as a community to help guide her through this one, working as pillars of support as she embarks on this journey to recovery.
