Help support Leah's School of Rock All-Stars journey!

Hello! I am Leah Han and I am 17 years old and attending School of Rock music school in Canton, Michigan! Ever since I started playing guitar 10 years ago, I knew I wanted to play live music. By being a part of School of Rock, I've been able to have some great on-stage experiences to fulfill my dream! This coming July, I have been awarded a spot to go on tour and play bass with the School of Rock All-stars, which is the highest level that any student attending School of Rock can achieve! I am incredibly grateful for this amazing opportunity and truly couldn't have done it without my friends, family, and mentors supporting me!

Unfortunately, this opportunity comes with a cost of $2,700. Although I've been so graciously awarded a $2,000 scholarship by School of Rock, I still need help with the $700 to pay off the rest of my fees plus money for traveling to and from the meet point in Philly. My practice and performance commitments to the musical arts does not leave me with a lot of time for a job to pay these dues, this is why I've created a GoFundMe!

100% of money donated will go towards paying off the rest of my dues, my travel fees, and also helping my mom to afford to travel to some shows on my tour in the Northeast! My mom has always been my greatest supporter throughout my musical career and I would love to help make it possible for her to be there! (I would also like to consider this an early Mother's Day gift!) And also lift some of the weight off my parents shoulders who pay all of my fees for marching band, winter percussion, and School of Rock.

Any and all money that isn’t used for traveling expenses will be donated to the Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide (SPTS). Which School of Rock All-Stars closely partner with and which is also a cause deeply personal to me.
