Support Diane's Fight Against Breast Cancer

Diane is an amazing and strong wife, mother, sister, grandma, aunt, and friend who was recently diagnosed with stage II breast cancer. On March 20th, she underwent surgery for a double mastectomy as this was the best option to try and prevent the cancer from coming back. Shortly after surgery, she will start chemotherapy and radiation following chemo, however she resides in a town 3+ hours away from where she needs to get treatment causing her to travel back and forth each week.

We have a long road ahead of us and many Dr's visits in the future, but the most important mission is to kick cancers ass and make sure our momma is as comfortable as she can be throughout this process.

We're raising money and asking for donations to cover medical and daily expenses, including out of pocket medical expenses, breast reconstruction surgery, and gas/food for travel.

**Sunday, May 11, 2025 Update**

Diane received her first round of chemo on April 15th and it was a tough one! Dr had her receive 4 different types to start off and she quickly saw some side effects to that treatment plan. Unfortunately she spent about a week in the ER (5 days in ICU) to get hydration and treatment for her blood pressure. She attempted her 2nd round of chemo May 6th but Dr. said she is going to have a 2 week break and is going to change her chemo treatment plan from 4 types of chemo down to 2 types of chemo. She's experiencing hair loss from the first round so she's rockin' a cute shorter hair cut! So far her out of pocket costs have been $2,226 - we have received such generous donations, thoughts, prayers and support from family and friends. We are feeling so blessed!
