Help support Dani during this difficult battle

Everyone who knows Dani loves her! This beautiful soul lights up every room with her gorgeous eyes and bubbly personality! She is a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Dani was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer, which has spread to the liver. To battle this, she will have a port inserted and begin 3 months of chemotherapy to shrink the tumors, have 2 separate surgeries to remove them late this year, and then will follow up with chemotherapy again after the surgeries are completed. She has a long road ahead, but she beaten cancer before and is determined to do so again.

The Knauer family is already beginning to realize the financial burden this will bring. Both Nick and Dani are local small business owners. Although they have insurance, there are copays, deductibles and out of pocket expenses to be had, and they will have to make ends meet without Dani's income. We all know the cost of food, gas and everyday expenses are at an all time high, this unforeseen burden is just one more thing for them to worry about.

Right now, Dani's main focus is spending quality time with her family. She is staying positive and she realistically knows some of what is to come, having beat cancer years ago.
