My lovely longtime friend and amazing DJ Bob Jones, known by

many as DrBob Jones, has recently been diagnosed with cancer

involving his neck/throat, and is about to embark on a fairly lengthy

complex treatment & recovery plan.

Bob’s cancer treatment will mean him sadly having to turn down a

a significant amount of work for an unknown period of time.

Bob’s particular type of cancer means he also has to undergo

extremely costly dental work, which is not available to him locally

given the specialism involved. This means Bob & his lovely Partner

Debs will also be having to fund travel, hotels, plus convalesce time.

For over 55 years, Bob’s passion and encyclopedic knowledge have made him one of the most influential Music Heads/DJs in the Soul,

Jazz Dance Club scene & beyond.

Bob is also the loveliest, most unassuming, humble Chap you’re ever

likely to meet and not one to want to worry or put upon anyone.

So this campaign has been set up on Bob’s behalf to take the

pressure off him financially, even if only just for a bit to give him some

time to get back to being our full of beans, Bob!
