Hi, my name is Ruth, and I’m fundraising for baby Sonny and his wonderful family.

Gorgeous Sonny has always had a smile for everyone but, at less than a year old, he has been diagnosed with a rare cancer called Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH).

His diagnosis has turned his family’s world upside down and now, instead of marking those special first milestones, they are supporting him as he undergoes chemotherapy.

His incredible parents, Emma and Dale, are now stretching themselves between medical appointments and caring for Sonny, being there for their other two boys and work. It’s an impossible battle and taking an emotional toll.

Dale is self-employed, which means when he takes time off to support the family, the income stops. Emma, has had to take time away from working to focus on Sonny’s treatment and appointments, while still caring for their other boys. The financial pressure is enormous—travel costs, childcare, fuel, missed work, and the everyday expenses that don’t stop in a crisis.

With Christmas approaching, I wanted to do something that could give the family some breathing room—whether it’s helping them keep up with bills, making sure the children still feel the magic of the season, or simply taking away a small part of the stress they’re carrying.
