Help Strong's Public House grow!

Strong's Public House & Patio is a family-owned and operated business on the Blue Hill peninsula. We have been in business since 2013, and we have always shown a commitment to our local community, its people and its farms.

We are excited to share with you our plan to expand our businesses into a year-round community hub. We plan to gradually work toward building an authentic community public house. We want to offer the local area a warm, intimate environment- a place where all are welcome to sit for a time and enjoy a handmade cocktail or beer and enjoy locally made fare. Imagine the comfortable pubs that dot the English countryside- we want to be that neighborhood haven for our community.

This specific ask is to help fund the first step of our project- expanding our screened-in porch. We will extend the porch across the front of the building, add windows and doors plus an indoor restroom.

(These renderings show a concept of a completed space, phase one is to get it built with windows, doors and insulation. The more we raise, the more decor we can procure.)

We envision a comfortable space for dining with friends and family. Our current seating capacity is 12, but this expansion will allow us to seat 30 people comfortably. That's plenty of room to gather and dine, join us for a trivia night, or host a holiday party. To get a feel for the proposed atmosphere, visit our Vision Board.

We plan to make this project happen through bank loans and donations. The total for the project to be completed is $50K.

Why are we asking for donations to help us expand? Since the COVID pandemic, it's not been as easy to own a small hospitality business, and we've learned that it takes the support of a community to get things done. In return, we are committed to putting in the hard work and building a space that our local residents really want. People have asked for a "pub"- a place to sit and unwind with good food and drinks. That's our plan, but we need your help to make it happen.
