Help Stacey Powell Fight and Win Her Battle

My name is Mandy Cameron and I have started this fundraiser to support my sister's courageous battle against cancer. If you know Stacey personally or through a connection perhaps with her horse rescue sanctuary, marewellness you are aware of her love of life, infectious smile and laugh, dedication to her family and business and overall kind and caring spirit.

Stacey is the mother of three beautiful and incredible children, Bear(9), Wyatt (8), and Franki Mare, (6). She is the wife of Jesse Powell who has been by her side supporting her every step of the way while working as well as being an amazing father. The Powell family is the definition of what family means.

Stacey, or as some of you may know her on her social media channels as "Jonas" began rescuing horses from slaughter immediately after her first battle with cancer was won. Dozens of horses have been saved from slaughter because of her and nursed back to health after living in horrific conditions.

Stacey courageously beat stage 3 cancer once and she will do it again. After being cancer free and rejoicing daily our family received the news that the cancer has returned. She has been actively treating this shocking return with moments of success. However due to the nature of this beast we now know that she will require lifesaving treatment at An Oasis of Healing in Mesa, Arizona. As this is outside of "normal" protocol that insurance would largely cover, the Powell family will be paying out of pocket.

I humbly ask our family, friends, and those we haven't met but have been touched by Stacey or anyone in their beautiful family to wrap their arms around this family and help alleviate the financial burden. Stacey and Jesse's children will be away from their Mom and Dad during treatment and being cared for by various family members which will be unbelievably difficult. This separation will be unbelievably difficult for them all. If the stress of the financial aspect of this fight could help be alleviated the focus can be on what matters most - Stacey’s health.
