Help Soji Fight Disease
Donazione protetta
This is Soji. She is a beautiful 6 months old girl. At 4 months she got a red rash on her feet and it started blistering and eventually spread to her entire body. After a long initial hospital stay she was finally diagnosed with an auto immune disease called Bullous Pemphigoid, and it is extremely rare in infants.
They do not know exactly what caused it, or how it keeps triggering and relapsing with new blisters and rashes, her case is a quite severe example of the illness where other children usually respond much faster to treatment. Soji has been staying in hospitals for almost 2 months now. Blisters are still all over her body and she is on a lot of medication to try and control it but she hasn't responded too well to any of it so far. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of it very soon and get her home finally.
We would really appreciate any help you can give Soji so we can ensure she gets the best ongoing care possible once we get her home and make her as comfortable as we can manage. Thank you!
