I am reaching out on behalf of a truly special woman—Shyann McQueen.

Shyann has spent her life making others feel beautiful, valued, and heard. As a hairstylist, she gave her clients far more than great hair—she gave them compassion, confidence, and a listening ear. Now, she needs that same compassion returned.

Shyann is facing stage 4 ovarian cancer, which has spread to her bones. It’s a devastating diagnosis, and while treatment options are limited, Shy is fighting with incredible strength and courage.

Her journey has already been long and exhausting, both emotionally and financially. We want to ease that burden—not just for Shyann, but for her husband and family as well. Right now, her husband is trying to balance work and being by her side during the most difficult time of their lives. These funds will allow him to be present with her, without the constant worry of bills, parking fees at the hospital, or the day-to-day costs that never stop even in the middle of a crisis.

Asking for help is not something Shyann would ever do easily. She’s strong, independent, and has always been the one giving to others. But right now, the reality is that she truly needs our support.
