Help Sherry beat Lung Cancer

daughter Amanda (Husband Jeremy). Sherry’s husband is Bobby

Adkins and she has an amazing grandson Gabriel who is her world.

For the past 15 plus years she has been taking care of and

volunteering her time with the elderly and allowing sick people a

chance to stay in their home and live life comfortably with support,

in their last days. She is a caregiver through and through and has

made so many lifelong friends and been a blessing to many. She is a

member of the Wurtland Church of God and has worked hard to be a

person that people look up to and can come to if they are in need.

She is always there for others with her special ability to write songs

and poetry for people in their time of need. But right now Sherry is the

one that is in need and as her friends and family we are asking for

help from anyone that is able to do so.

Sherry has beaten 2 different forms of cancer including breast cancer

and was in remission for almost 13 years. This past November she

was cleaning out the freezer at her house and bent over and fractured

her ribs. The doctor ordered x rays and was concerned with

something that was showing up. Cat scans confirmed that she has

Stage 3 Lung cancer (Non small cell). She has beaten cancer not once

but twice before and is ready to do it again but her insurance copays are outrageous and she is in need of help. She is in great spirits and doesn’t want to burden anyone with her issues but

as her family we are asking for help keeping this amazing woman

healthy and in this world as long as possible to spread her rays of light.  If you are able to help financially, we thank you in advance, but if you are not able to help financially we understand and ask for prayer and for you to share this story to help get our message out to more people.  I will keep everyone updated and will let you know how everything is going, as of right now she will be starting chemotherapy and radiation together and following it up with a year of immunotherapy.
