In June 2025, Sherie received devastating news: she has cancer for the second time. This time, it’s an aggressive oral cancer on her upper palate, caused by the radiation treatments that once saved her life back in 1998. The cancer has also spread to her right lung, making her battle even more difficult.

Sherie began treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, in July. She bravely endured two rounds of chemotherapy and three rounds of immunotherapy. These treatments took a heavy toll—leaving her weak, exhausted, and struggling with a diminished quality of life. After much consideration and prayer, Sherie made the difficult decision to stop further chemotherapy and focus on palliative care and pain management with her Mayo team.

Determined to find a gentler, more hopeful path, Sherie and her family turned to integrative oncology. In October, she began working with Divinity Wellness Center in Sioux Falls, SD—a faith-based clinic offering alternative cancer therapies. Through advanced testing by RGCC Labs in Greece (www.myrgcc.com), Sherie’s care team gained detailed insights into her cancer’s behavior and how best to treat it.

Her first integrative treatment, called SOT (Supportive Oligonucleotide Therapy), is scheduled for November. This therapy uses Sherie’s own DNA to silence the cancer’s gene sequence and prevent it from growing. She has also started a personalized regimen of supplements to boost her immune system, along with hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Future therapies will include high-dose vitamin C infusions and ozone therapy to further strengthen her body’s defenses.

The most promising treatment ahead is a personalized “vaccine” made from Sherie’s DNA. This therapy will create a powerful army of killer T-cells designed to target and destroy her specific cancer cells. Administered through three infusions, this breakthrough approach has shown remarkable success in other countries—and offers real hope for Sherie’s healing.

While this integrative path brings hope, it also brings significant financial challenges. These treatments are not covered by insurance or Medicare, leaving Sherie and Les with overwhelming out-of-pocket costs. The most urgent need is funding for the development of her cancer vaccine, and additional expenses for the necessary therapies and supplements to strengthen her immune system and create an environment in her body in which the cancer cannot survive.

We, Sherie’s family and friends, are asking for your help. Every donation—no matter the amount—makes a meaningful difference. Your generosity will help Sherie access the treatments she needs to fight this cancer and reclaim her life.

“But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,” declares the Lord. Jeremiah 30:17
