Hello, My name is Niamh and I’ve been given a once in a lifetime opportunity to represent Northamptonshire scouts in The 2027 Poland world scout jamboree.

For those that don’t know, a jamboree is a large scale scouting event where 40,000 young people from all over the world come together and connect through sharing culture, friendship and learn new skills. A jamboree is so much more than a camp, it is a life shaping experience.

Now this is where you come in, a jamboree comes with a cost, and I will be working hard to fundraiser, however I need help to reach my goal of £3200. Every small donation can lead to a much bigger life goal reached.

I have been apart of the scouting movement for 10 years now, starting at 2nd Rothwell beavers, and then later becoming a young leader to 2nd Rothwell beavers in 2023. I am apart of glendon gang show and will be performing with them for the 3rd and final time in march 2026, before glendon gang show I performed in Kettering gang show in 2018. So as you can gather, I’ve know scouting for as long as I can remember and have made the best memories and friends throughout my journey.

This jamboree will be my last big thing in scouting before going off into the real world. In Poland I hope to continue my journey of learning about both myself and others.

Thank you very much,

Niamh Clarke !
