This sweet creature has been seen wandering near Jesse Jones Park since 2021, alone, broken, and fighting to survive. She’s a coyote, but what’s left of her barely resembles one anymore. She’s missing a foot. Her skin is raw and mangy, likely crawling with parasites, fleas, and ticks. It’s pure, ongoing torture & she’s endured it for FOUR LONG YEARS.
She’s not just a wild animal. She is a living being in pain, discarded and forgotten by the world around her. But not by me. And not by you.
My neighbor Olivia, originally sounded the call for help on Next Door & thanks to her & Paul Miller (statewide animal control and a coyote specialist), & a reputable rehab sanctuary in San Antonio, we have a plan to save her. She will be humanely darted, trapped, and transported to a facility that will provide her with medical care, comfort, and a safe, forever home, free from pain, hunger, and fear.
Once she’s safely trapped, she’ll be transported to Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation in San Antonio. This incredible sanctuary has agreed to give her lifetime medical care, safety, and love. She’ll finally be able to rest, no longer starving, in pain, or utterly alone. It’s the least she deserves after all these years of pain.
Yes, she can be rehabilitated. No, she’ll likely never return to the wild (she can’t hunt with three legs), but at WRR, she’ll have a forever home filled with care and peace.
We need FUNDS to be able to make this rescue a reality. It can be done, & it will be done. Y’all have helped me help animals before so let’s do it again Humble Kingwood Atascocita and all the surrounding areas!
Funds raised will cover trapping services and transport to the sanctuary. Anything raised beyond that will be donated directly to WRR for her long-term treatment. We all know Wildlife Rehabs are not cheap so anything additional raised would be so greatly appreciated.
I know this is a wild animal, but look at her. The look in her eyes…
She’s been walking through fire, day after day, for years. She deserves peace. She deserves help. She deserves to know she’s not invisible.
Please don’t scroll past this. Donate if you can. And even if you can’t, you can share. You can help this sweet soul get the chance she’s been waiting on for four years.
$450 - Trapper/dart/capture fee
$100 - Transportation to Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation in San Antonio
$100 - Donation directly to WRR for medical care, food, and ongoing support.
$650 total guys. If 65 people donate $10 we are there. If 33 people donate $20 are there even faster.
PLEASE, if you feel that tug in your heart, don’t ignore it. Help me give this suffering soul the second chance she deserves. She’s fought this hard. Let’s fight for her now. You would want the same done for your furry loved one.
