Help Save Hoor’s Life — A Kidney for My Little Girl
Doação protegida
My name is Mohammad. On the morning of Friday, July 13, 2018, I was blessed with the most beautiful little girl on Earth — my third child, after a son and a daughter. I named her Hoor, a name that means “bird of love” in Arabic. Everything was perfect — until the doctors gave us heartbreaking news: our daughter had a kidney condition.
She was later diagnosed with a rare genetic and autoimmune disease called Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD). As a physician myself, I knew the painful road that lay ahead for this little angel. Today, Hoor suffers from end-stage kidney failure and undergoes dialysis three times a week.
Between those lines are seven long years of pain, surgeries, medical journeys, and endless challenges. Through it all, Hoor remained our family’s shining light. My wife and I have given everything we could to keep that light alive — but kidney failure has only one true solution: a transplant.
And this is why I’m reaching out today.
Hoor’s condition has worsened. She now suffers from severe bone deformities due to rickets and can no longer walk. I’ve done everything I could — sold my home, sold my clinic, and traveled with her to Turkey hoping for a transplant. Sadly, things didn’t go as planned. We were scammed, and we lost a lot — but never our hope.
I made a promise to my daughter — that one day she would walk, run, swim, eat freely, and live the childhood she deserves.
I remember once, her uncle asked her over the phone what gift she wanted. With pure innocence, she replied, “I want a kidney.”
In 2024, I came to the United States, hoping I might find a solution. But the cost of a transplant here is overwhelming — over $500,000 — far beyond what I can afford. I contacted organizations, churches, and charities, but no help came.
Finally, I’ve turned to GoFundMe, praying that your kindness will help give my daughter a second chance. A Jordanian doctor has agreed to perform the transplant back home — but the cost is still high: $100,000 USD (about 70,000 Jordanian Dinars).
Please, if you can donate, even a dollar will make a difference. And if you can’t, I humbly ask you to pray for my little girl. There is still hope — and maybe, just maybe, together we can give Hoor the life she dreams of.
