My partner Ryan had a stroke in October 2025, 2,000 miles away from our home in MN while visiting CA for a family wedding. He was in the ICU until the end of October, where he got transferred to different hospital where he gets PT about an hour a week. During is time in the ICU, he had part of his skull removed due to swelling in his brain along with getting a trach to help him breathe. He’ll need to get a plate in to cover the missing part of the his skull. The trach finally at the end of December! He will be on disability leave which will be unpaid. We would need some help with bills and the day to day expenses that comes from him being in the hospital and rehab. Circumstances came up and we need to get a new car on top of every thing else that is going on. Truly, anything will would help and we will eternally grateful for people going out of the way to get us through the extremely hard time.
