Help Rural Cambodian Youth Through COVID-19 Crisis

PEPY Empowering Youth is a non-profit organisation located in Siem Reap, Cambodia, and its mission is to work with young and dedicated Cambodians by connecting them to the skills, opportunities, and inspirations needed to reach their potential.
I have been working with PEPY as a Scholarship Program Officer for almost ten months now, and I am so grateful to be a part of this wonderful team to provide opportunities for students from rural areas to access higher education and uplift their community.
As a Scholarship Program Officer, I work closely with all PEPY scholarship students and alumni. The Covid-19 crisis has significantly impacted on our scholars and alumni with their jobs and studies. Prior the crisis, our scholars and alumni employment rate was 100%, but then it decreased 20% in May. Additionally, our students unemployment rate keeps increasing for those who work in the education and tourism/hospitality sector as Covid-19 continues to limit travel and Cambodia's economy keeps declining.
Small donations can make a big different on our unemployed students' families!
This fund will go toward our emergency response for families short on food with no income and unemployed students who struggle to find new jobs during these uncertain times.
