Help Robyn & Jeff Keeports recover

Updates have been added below to their story.

Hi, our names are Roy and Colleen and we are fundraising for Robyn and Jeff who were in a horrific car accident this past February.

They never thought something like this could happen to them but it did. On February 24th at around 7:30 p.m., they were driving south on US 1 in Delaware when another vehicle crossed the center median and hit them head-on. Their vehicle caught fire. A good samaritan pulled Robyn from the car. Jeff was not pulled out until the fire was extinguished.
Robyn was airlifted to Christiana Medical Center where she spent 2 weeks in the hospital with fractured ribs, 2 broken feet, a broken hand and a few other injuries. She was lucky to be able to go home with the help of her many good friends after those 2 weeks. She is still recovering slowly with physical therapy but recovering!

Jeff was first transported to Bay Health and then airlifted to Crozer Burn Center where he is still at after 8 weeks recuperating from multiple burns and other injuries. He may be there for a few more weeks before moving to a rehabilitation center.

They also had their two dogs with them in the car and sadly lost Jenson in the accident. Cooper is being taken care of by a good friend until Robyn can get back on her feet.

Over the next days, weeks, and months ahead they will still have hospital/rehabilitation time, countless doctor visits and therapy sessions. As you can imagine the normal costs of everyday living...such as food, gas, car, etc. & the medical costs which will be astronomical. That is why we have started this Go Fund Me page for Jeff and Robyn.
From the bottom of our hearts, we humbly ask that you share this link with friends and family and if possible in giving (any amount will help).

We thank you for your support for Robyn & Jeff and sincerely thank every one of you!!

Update:

Robyn visited Jeff yesterday and was able to use a walker for most of her visit. The good news at this point is Jeff's 6th planned skin surgery yesterday was canceled as the doctor feels now it’s not needed. The plan is now to gradually eliminate the trach and get his lungs cleared out. Once this occurs, he can be moved to a rehab facility.

The attached photo is Robyn sitting at Jeff’s bedside holding hands. As required with burn patients, she is wearing a gown, mask and gloves to avoid infection of the patient.

May 9th Update:
Robyn’s recovery is progressing as she has started physical therapy of her left wrist. Her next step is the removal of the boot on her foot possibly on May 18th.

Jeff continues his slow recovery and is still in Crozer Burn Center. The issues keeping him there are continuing bandage changes, trachea usage and fluid removal from his lungs. They needed to reapply the lung drainage tube the other evening due to blockage. Once some of these issues are overcome, he can be moved to an acute long-term rehab facility.

From the bottom of our hearts, we humbly ask that you share this link again with friends and family and if possible in giving (any amount will help).

We thank you for your support for Robyn & Jeff and sincerely thank each and every one of you!!
