Help Rianah Access urgent medical care

Hi, my name is rianah, I am starting a fund-raiser because I desperately need help. I have five chronic medical conditions that cause me extreme pain and discomfort and the public health system in Adelaide is failing to treat me.

I have been on a waitlist for a rheumatologist for 6 years which has left my Psoriatic arthritis out of control. I can barely move everyday. I'm struggling to get out of bed, everything I do causes pain. I have applied to disability many times because I can't work due to my detoriating health but conveniently centerlink won't approve my disability claim without this one page of evidence from the rheumatologist even tho I have provided over 100 pages of evidence all together about all five of my chronic health conditions. Without help I'm just getting worse. I currently receive a sickness benefit but that's 800 a week and it all goes towards rent and cost of living. I have no money left over for my medications or constant steriod creams or puffers or anything that will make my health slightly better.

I have discussed with my gp what the best solution would be and he told me to go private but in Adelaide that will still take over a year and be really expensive. My best option is to fly to Brisbane and get seen there as I can get an appointment within a week however my skin is so bad it hurts to move or wear clothes so I would need at least a week of steroid creams which can be $150+ depending where I have to go and whose got them in stock as Medicare have recently removed alot of my stuff that keeps my itchyness and discomfort at a minimal, it doesn't completely help me but it does help the slightest so I can at least wear clothes to the appointments I need because at the moment it hurts to because my psoriasis is so raw and itchy.

My medical conditions are psoriasis, Psoriatic arthritis, chronic fatigue endometrosis, ibs

I'm also quite a bit behind in bills and basic life stuff I just need a bit of help in general and I can't work because of pain and immune system issues from previously being on chemo for my arthritis
