Help Rhys with cost of his scoliosis braces

My son Rhys is 3 in November. He is an ivf baby so he’s a true miracle. As a single mum he’s the best thing that I cold have in my life. Shortly after he was born he was diagnosed with vsd in his heart. A ventricular septal

defect is a hole in the wall that separates the lower chambers of your heart. When this hole is large enough, the amount of blood leaking between the chambers can cause permanent damage to your heart and lungs and increase the risk of heart infections. Most VSDs don’t cause symptoms and close on their own by age 6. We weren’t that lucky well depends on how you look at it. At four months old Rhys went in to heart failure and had his surgery and fully recovered and eventually came off his tube feeds to be feed normally. But that wasn’t the worst of his issues just before his second birthday we found out he had conjenatil scoliosis and would need body casts and braces to hold his curves before he will have multiple surgeries to have growing pins inserted. The casting part has been going on for the last year with difficulty as he’s been having reactions to reg material on the cast and now we need to use the processes of braces which have to be custom made in Dublin as well. Which like the cast will have to be changed regularly. The expense of all of this is taking it’s toll so any help would be appreciated. Rhys is a fun loving happy go lucky child.
