Help Rhys Replace Tree Crushed Car

Our friend, Rhys Parry, just had his Kia Van completely crushed by a tree during the wind storm last week up here in the Santa Cruz mountains. He has been staying with us on our property in his trailer for 18 months. We survived the 2020 CZU fire with our house and Rhys’s trailer intact. However, a huge windstorm with hurricane level winds came through our area and wind gusts were above 70 miles an hour for a good portion of the night.  Rhys had been out of town and unfortunately returned late that same night.  At daybreak, our fence had blown over, a tree had fallen, damaging a retaining wall and the wall controlling our well water system blew over breaking water pumps.  In the morning, while I rushed around dealing with the disaster, another tree fell and crushed Rhys' van.  Rhys does not have comprehensive insurance. He has been spending time in his mother's hometown, Santa Rosa, trying to find a place to live there.  His mother, Del Rainer, is 92 has had a challenge getting back to normal after breaking her hip and needs his assistance.  Neither one of them have the funds to purchase a vehicle for Rhys.  My home insurance does not cover his car.  Fortunately Rhys' life and trailer was spared.   Also, he has no way to get around to look for a new place.  We all have to be out within a couple of months.  Rhys could use help with...

1. Raising around $6500 for a new vehicle.

2. Providing a place for Rhys to put, and live in, his trailer

3.  Provide a place for Rhys to live for between $500-750/mo.

4.  Provide a working vehicle to replace the one he lost.

Rhys is a nice person and he's been through a lot, especially since COVID and has impacted his way of making a living.  He is a great handyman and helped us a lot on our property.  Please help Rhys so he can relocate to a safer, more secure home.   Anything you can do is much appreciated.  Blessings.
