My name is Rebecca (Schell) Farnes and I am Rhonda’s sister. On Friday, July 28th, 2023, Rhonda’s world turned upside down with devastating news that she was diagnosed with Stage 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Breast Cancer.

The type of cancer Rhonda has is HER2+, which makes up for only 20% of breast cancer diagnoses, and is one of the most aggressive types of breast cancer. She will be undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery as a result. Rhonda has many challenges ahead, physically, emotionally and financially. Many of you who know Rhonda, know that she jumps in to help others without questions, would give the shirt off her back, and is always there at all times to lend an ear or helping hand. It’s our turn to help her! We can’t even imagine the significant expenses yet to come for treatments, medical supplies, and so much more. This is going to be a long journey and my aim for this page is to reduce at least some of the burden on one of the greatest Moms and people I know while she is going through this fight.
