Hi everyone,
This is really hard to write.
If you know Ronnie, you know how much of his heart and soul lives inside Elite Sports Cards & Comics. This shop isn’t just a business to him. It’s years of hard work, long days, and genuine care for every person who walks through the door. It’s also something our two daughters have grown up around and are so proud of.
That’s why this hurts so much.
Our shop was broken into again. In a matter of minutes, items Ronnie spent years building were taken or damaged. We’re still assessing everything, but the loss is significant, estimated at over $100,000 in inventory. It’s not just the financial loss, it’s the emotional one too.
But what makes this place special has never just been what’s on the shelves. It’s the community. So many of you have come in to talk, collect, bring your kids, and be part of something that feels welcoming and real.
We are determined to rebuild.
We’ve set a goal of $25,000 to help cover repairs, replace stolen inventory, and get the shop back to a place where we can fully reopen. If this shop has ever meant something to you, or if you simply believe in supporting small, family-run businesses, we would be so grateful for anything you can give.
If you’re not able to donate, sharing this would mean just as much to us.
Thank you for standing with us, for supporting Ronnie, and for helping us hold onto something that means so much.
With gratitude,
Melissa & Ronnie
