Thomas J. Trolson, 36, died suddenly on Monday, May 12, 2025, in Superior, WI.
Tom was born in Duluth, MN, to Debra Parsons and Loren Trolson. He graduated from Harbor City International School in 2006.
Known for his quick wit, kind heart, and vibrant personality, Tom brought joy and laughter to everyone around him. He enjoyed curling, throwing darts, golfing, and spending time at the cabin with family and friends. A passionate gamer and proud “nerd,” Tom especially loved playing Dungeons & Dragons and World of Warcraft. He was the life of the party—always eager to connect with others, listen to their stories, and make them feel welcome.
Tom worked for many years as a bartender at the Anchor Bar & Grill, where his outgoing nature and genuine warmth made him a favorite among patrons and coworkers alike.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty and David Parsons, and Beulah and Walter Trolson.
Tom is survived by his father, Loren Trolson; his mother, Debra (Rod) Johnson; his brother, Ted (Kathie Young) Trolson; his fiancée, Cassandra Schick; his uncle and aunt, Dale & Bonne Trolson; his aunt, Cyndee Parsons; and his cousins, Inga (Miranda) Parsons and Christine (Pete) Hanson.
Please help us remember Tommy by making a donation to the junior program at the Superior Curling Club. Money raised will be used to pay for kids who otherwise couldn't afford the sport and to subsidize juniors who wish to participate in out-of-town bonspiels.
