But right now, we have nothing—no home, no shelter, no stability. We’ve been displaced by relentless bombing, forced to live in overcrowded shelters, constantly moving to avoid death. My elderly father suffers from a heart condition. Half of our family are innocent children who cry from hunger and thirst, often going days without clean water or food.
