Help Raise Money for My Mom's Cancer Treatments

My moms name is Susana Faria, she is 47 years old, married and has 2 kids, me and my brother.

Around 7 years ago she got diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It was discovered at an early stage. She did surgery to remove the tumor and it was easily resolved. She started taking a medication that needed to be taken for 5 years, as she was in remission. During her third year in remission she received the worst news of our lives. Her cancer had returned and this time more aggressive and when she was diagnosed it was already metastasized in her lungs, liver, and bones. It was a big shock, we were all devestated and had no idea what to do because to make matters worse, my mom doesn't have a health card. My moms world was flipped upside down. We had no way of paying for her treatments that she needed to start as fast as possible, but my mom always found a way to fight through. She started radiation, chemotherapy and other treatments. We were in the middle of Covid-19 and there was a protocol that anyone without a health card wouldn't have to pay for any medical related bills. This protocol really saved us.

When everything started becoming stabilized, she was once again diagnosed with cancer. This time in her kidney.

Another fight to overcome.

To make things worse, couple of months prior we were informed that the Covid protocol that had saved her life was coming to an end. Meaning that we had to start paying for everything ourselves.

Her health started to get worse and she needed to immediately start her radiation, continue her chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, bone therapy and daily medication.

There all a lot of treatments, and are all really expensive.

Therefore, we really need your help.

At this moment, we need your help for my mom to be able to do her treatments, because without them her health is getting worse day by day.

My mom has always been the most positive person in the world and she has handled this situation in the best way possible. But she has gotten to the point where she has realized the only thing that can help is the treatments and medication, not just a positive mindset.

The continuous treatments have led my mom to have other health problems, like needing the see an eye doctor, dermatologist, dentist, and physiotherapist.

I really want to see my mom continue to fight this. I really want to be able to keep growing up with my mom by my side.
