Help raise funds for Brett’s medical and financial needs

I am reaching out and planning to start a go fund me for my next door neighbors. Brett Durbin who has a lawn care service has been in an accident and is currently in University Hospital with a gunshot wound to his hand and leg, in which shattered his femur. He had surgery yesterday morning and is stable. I don’t feel it is my story to tell. But, this was a accident. He has a sweet family. And he is the soul provider of his family. Three of his girls are very young 4, 6,6 and the oldest is 14. I have been with his wife Emily through this ordeal and she is devastated. Not only is she trying to wrap her head around the fact that he has been shot for the second time (first being in Iraq), and will be laid up again for who knows when, but she is scared about loosing everything they have worked so hard for. They have no one except us.. Nana and Mike. I love this family, the little ones call me Nana. And I take this role seriously! If you are able to reach in and help our neighbor who has given to our community by helping the homeless through your donations, cutting grass free for neighbors who have had loss or can not afford to pay him. This is a man who has a huge heart, a Purple Heart and has given to us all with no expectations of anything in return. Thanks in advance for anything you can provide for them.
