Help raise $10,000 to fund treatment for Ini

In 2010 at 22, Ini was in his second year of university at UCL pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering when specific symptoms began.

He experienced continuous headaches, hearing loss in one ear, occasional blurred vision and weight loss. Thus, prompting an MRI scan. The MRI scan revealed that Ini had a posterior fossa benign hemangioblastoma tumour on the right side of his brain. He underwent surgery at the Royal Free Hospital in London (Posterior fossa craniotomy and excision of the right cerebella tumour). Postoperatively, Ini began rehabilitation at the Royal Free Hospital in London and later returned to Nigeria to continue the process.

Once Ini recovered, to get his life back on track, he enrolled at the University of Accra in Ghana to continue his studies. However, that was unfortunately cut short. Previous symptoms had resurfaced. He then underwent another MRI scan, which confirmed the reoccurrence of the brain tumour and additionally a tumour in his spine. This led him to embark on a journey to India for surgical intervention.

Between 2019 and 2020, Ini underwent surgeries at three hospitals in India in an attempt to remove the tumours and get his health back on track. Fortunately, the surgeries were successful, so Ini returned to Nigeria for further rehabilitation after the travel ban during the covid pandemic period of 2020 had been lifted.

Recently Ini began to experience symptoms which led to a follow-up MRI scan in October 2022. Unfortunately, this revealed a reoccurrence of the tumour in the brain and his spine, which have caused his health to deteriorate further.

Ini is one of the most positive people anyone would have the pleasure of coming across. He has always been very ambitious with a penchant for entrepreneurship, always willing to give a helping hand when you least expect it. He is brave, charismatic, cheerful, wise beyond his years, friendly and most of all, authentic to those he loves, i.e. family and friends. His medical challenges have taken quite a toll on his loved ones, who care for and support him. But rest assured, Ini's drive for life and God's mercies have kept him going.

We're seeking help for a life-changing procedure to give him another shot at life; he has exhausted his finances through the years and needs support. We implore you to help us on this task to raise $10,000 for his surgery. As you give, you will have a significant impact on his life.
