!!!! PORTIA BEAT BREAST CANCER !!!!

While most of us didn't even know she was even dealing with it!

Hi everyone,

My name is Amelia, and I’m organizing this fundraiser for my friend Portia, who is just 33 years old, and recently received life-altering news — she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Portia found a lump herself in March 2025, and followed her instincts to get it checked ASAP. That decision led to her diagnosis and the beginning of an emotional, physical, and financial journey that no one should face alone.

She is looking at multiple surgeries and is unfortunately out of work because of this. So far she has already conquered 2 surgeries with great news each time. In July of this year she got the call- CANCER FREE!!!

But the journey is not over. She is still expected to have at least one more surgery and will continue treatment with a chemotherapy pill when the time comes.

She had surgery in May and again in July 2025. Not once has she asked for help.

It's hard for anyone to ask for help. I want to do all that I can to help another mom in need.

As she continues treatment, medical expenses, time off work, and daily costs are adding up quickly. Portia is the sole provider for her son (9) who is her best friend, until very recently was a full time nursing student on top of having her regular full time job.

Portia is a strong, beautiful soul who lights up every room she enters. She’s kind, funny, and fiercely loyal — the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need. Now it's our turn to be there for her.
