It includes surgery to remove the tumor, followed by a series of PET scans to monitor her progress, and sessions of radiation therapy to ensure that the cancer is eradicated completely. A lot of money has been spent on tests, several sessions of chemo and surgery. More money is urgently needed to complete the cost of surgery, PET scan and sessions of radiation therapy. The financial burden of these treatments is overwhelming, especially for someone like Olasunbo, who has always lived modestly.
