Help Oshane Provide for His Family and Secure Citizenship

For the past 17 months, Oshane had been the care giver for my step father while in memory care. The kind, patient care he has given Dick has made a real difference. Oshane is a quiet hard working guy who is very reliable.

Oshane is also a 32 yr old father of three young children, 8,6 and 4. His wife abandoned them about six months ago. This has put Oshane in a very challenging and stressful situation. He now has to pay for babysitters while he works in order to support his family. It breaks my heart to watch him struggle to try to figure out how to be a good father and to provide at the same time. Every day he has to choose work over family and it crushes him.

For background, Oshane came to this country from Jamaica when he was 10 years old. He has virtually been on his own since he was 14. Nothing is more important to him than providing for his kids and being able to finalize his citizenship here in the US. He works hard and is a contributing member of this country. I’m grateful for his contribution and want to help him achieve his American dream.

As we are going to this holiday season, I would love you to consider contributing to Oshane. He will use this money for childcare and if enough is received, he will use it for legal fees in order to move his citizenship along which week require his mg a lawyer which is over $2500.
