I've been a nurse for 34 years, helping others through the worst times of their lives. Carrying their pain, secretly on my shoulders, in hopes of easing their burden. I've been in and out of the hospital for the past four months, and my life has changed dramatically. After 34 years as a nurse, caring for others, I suddenly found myself unable to work. I received a terminal diagnosis of end-stage COPD and am now oxygen dependent. On top of that, I was diagnosed with heart failure and diabetes. These health challenges have made it impossible for me to keep up with rent, utilities, and groceries, and now I'm facing eviction from my home of 12 years. I have until my birthday, the end of March to accomplish this task. I'm currently waiting to be approved for an inogen portable oxygen concentrator I can wear at work. i just want to die with dignity, in my home of 12 years, and not on a park bench. I'm running out of time so fast. Thank you!!!

All funds raised will go toward rent, utilities, food, and the many new medications I'm now on. Some of my medications and breathing treatments are extremely expensive due to a lapse in health coverage. I also need help paying for my oxygen rental bill. Your support will help me stay in my home, avoid more hospital stays by having access to my medication, and help me get back on my feet until I am able to return to work.
