Help Nathaniel Bedford beat cancer

I have recently discovered that a young friend that is dear to my heart has been diagnosed with cancer. I would think that anyone that has ever been at a show with Nathaniel Bedford has met this amazing young man. He’s always right in the middle of everything offering to help with anything that needs doing. He always has a smile of pure joy for everyone he meets and an obvious love for the animals he raises and shows. He extends his work ethic to include anyone that he sees struggling and will pitch right in with a total stranger and finish the work with a new friend. I can't say enough about this young man, other than if you have never met him, you really need to. He’s a very special guy.

He has recently been diagnosed with liver cancer and is undergoing surgery to have approximately half of his liver removed. The doctors are working to beat the spread and will be checking for areas of concern in his lungs and other areas as they move forward. Nathaniel is being prepped for surgery as I write this. I can’t imagine the emotions he and his family are experiencing right this moment. God has put a very special spark in this young man for a reason. He has work to do here and a light to shine bright in this world. I believe God will take care of his special one.

I am asking for our amazing Boer Goat community to come together and help one of “our” youth that is in need. I am asking for everyone to please pray for miraculous healing and grace. Pray for our Lord to guide the surgeons hands, lead the doctors in his follow up care and treatment, and most of all for a complete healing and return to full health. Pray for a quick recovery and the hand of our Lord to lay upon Nathaniel and his entire family as they walk this difficult road.

I’m also asking for our Boer Goat community to assist them to cover the medical bills that will be accumulating through the diagnosis, surgery, recovery, and continued treatments. I know that we have an amazing group of people that are kind, generous, and loving, and most of our community treat each other like one huge extended family. I ask that you donate in any amount that you are able. No amount is too small. And every donation will be received with a grateful heart.

Lets all pitch in and help Nathaniel through a quick recovery and get him back out in the show ring with the Boer Goats he loves. His presence at these shows is nothing less than a blessing, and I’m looking forward to seeing his sunny smile and goofy humor back at the shows - making his rounds visiting old friends and adding new ones with each person he meets.
