Help My Mother, Agatha, spinal Surgery

Donation protected

My name is Bruce, and this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to share. My mother, Agatha Mukamvuliye, is fighting for her life. She’s been diagnosed with an advanced degenerative spinal condition that has severely damaged her spinal cord. Her MRI shows critical compression along her neck and upper spine — the nerves that control her ability to move, feel, and even breathe properly are being crushed. Doctors have warned that without immediate surgery, she could soon face complete paralysis or worse.

Right now, my mother lives in constant, unbearable pain. She can hardly move without crying out. Simple things like sitting up, turning her neck, or even holding a cup of water have become almost impossible. Every day she’s losing more mobility, and I can see the pain wearing her down, even though she still tries to smile for me and my little brother.

Doctors have advised that she urgently needs a five-level spinal fusion surgery in Kenya by November 15th. It’s a complex and delicate procedure where surgeons will stabilize her spine with metal implants to stop the pressure on her spinal cord and give her a chance to walk again. The total cost, including surgery, recovery, and a safe place to stay during her treatment, will be around $30,000.

My mother is a refugee living in Malawi, which means she has no access to insurance or any financial support for her care. Everything must be paid for out of pocket. I’ve seen her sacrifice her own comfort her whole life just to make sure my brother and I could have one. She has always been the kind of woman who prays for others even while in pain, who gives everything even when she has nothing. But now, she’s the one who needs help.

This surgery isn’t just about easing her pain. It’s about saving her life. Please, if you can, help me give my mother this chance. Your donation will go directly to her surgery, her medical care, and her recovery in Kenya. Every single act of kindness brings her closer to standing again, to living without pain, to having a future.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for caring enough to help. Your love, prayers, and generosity mean more than I can ever say.
