Hi everyone, my name is Julian Ibarra, and I’m raising funds for my little brother, Miguel, who is just 20 years old.

Recently, Miguel’s life changed in an instant after a horrific wood chipper accident that resulted in the loss of his entire right arm. Our family is still in shock, but even through the pain and recovery, Miguel’s strength and spirit continue to inspire us every single day.

Before the accident, Miguel was always on the move — skateboarding, boxing, and playing basketball every chance he got. Being active wasn’t just something he did; it was a huge part of who he was. Losing his arm hasn’t stopped his determination, but it has taken away a big piece of how he expresses himself and stays active. Even after the accident, Miguel’s spirit is unbelievable. He stays positive, refuses to let life break him, and keeps pushing forward even on the hardest days. But deep down, he still wishes for some form of independence and functionality on his right side — something that could help him feel more like himself again.

Now, Miguel dreams of regaining some of that functionality through a prosthetic arm. Unfortunately, these devices are incredibly expensive, and insurance covers very little. That’s why we’re asking for help.
