I am Jay living in Chicago (US), and I'm honored to join this mutual aid team of people from Nantes and Montpellier (France), and San Francisco (US) who are trying to help Mohammed and his family. The horrific assault on Gaza is both urgent and slow and ongoing over many, many months. For our friends, this family on the inside, it's a daily reality of survival, and a need to still plan for a future after the war once they escape this genocide. We four, along with all of you, on the outside, are holding each other accountable and joining forces to stay with this family through our continued financial support, emotional attention, and care.

Today, we are asking for your help to reach this important and essential sum for the safety of Mohammed, Laila, and their two dear children, Maryam and Ahmed. ALL DONATIONS ARE SENT TO THEM (via PayPal) to help them to survive, provide for their family, and if possible, evacuate to Egypt.

This is a message from them:

"Hello, I am Mohammed Al-Rantisi from Gaza, a father of two wonderful children, who are yearning for a safe and stable life. My family and I have suffered greatly due to the ongoing war on Gaza for almost a year, during which we were forced to be displaced about ten times, and live in tents with a severe shortage of life necessities. We have lost our house, which we built with great difficulty. We have witnessed many horrors due to the violent and indiscriminate bombing, which completely destroyed our city and destroyed our homes, our roads, and our services such as electricity, water, and communications.

Since the beginning of the war, I have lost my job, and we have no source of income, knowing that the economic situation here has deteriorated dramatically and prices have risen dozens of times due to the siege imposed on us. Despite all this, we are exposed daily to bombardment from aircraft and shooting from tanks, and nothing protects us. Life here is very dangerous and tiring.

I am doing my best to evacuate my family out of Gaza when the crossings reopen, and this is very expensive as they charge more than $7,000 per person to evacuate out of Gaza.

We desperately need your support and standing by our side. Every donation contributes greatly to enabling me to save my family's lives and provide everything necessary to ensure their survival."
