Help Miki Save Her House

My name is Nancy, and I'm raising funds to help my friend Michoale "Miki" save her home from foreclosure. When I met Miki, she was transitioning out of a homeless shelter with twin baby boys. She had nothing but a box of diapers and the clothes on her back, but she had an abundance of determination and faith in God. Working with local nonprofits, she built a stable life for herself and her children. She found a good job, earned a Habitat home and pulled herself out of poverty as a single mother in a new area with no personal support network.

Over the last 7 years, Miki has helped countless other women and families in need, working as an ambassador for Habitat for Humanity and volunteering for other nonprofits to advocate for affordable housing and childcare, access to resources for struggling families and even started her own charitable group to collect clothing and essential items for families in need. She is a ray of sunshine and HOPE to everyone around her. But because of a back injury, surgery and COVID, Miki had to miss a lot of work and now is in danger of losing her Habitat home, which she worked SO hard for. Miki needs $2,800 to catch up on back mortgage payments and another $2,200 for car repairs so she can keep working.
