We’re reaching out to the Noe Valley and TECA communities and beyond to rally support for a young Noe Valley family, a husband, wife and their two small children—a Transitional Kindergarten (TK) student at TECA and a baby—who have faced an unimaginable ordeal.

Their lives changed overnight when a fire broke out on Thursday at 2:00am in their Sanchez street apartment building, forcing them to evacuate for safety. As if this devastation weren’t enough, flooding damaged their apartment, displacing the family and destroying many of their belongings. Tragically, while they were away, looters entered their home and stole valuables, adding to their losses. This young family has been left without the essentials they need, facing the overwhelming challenge of finding temporary housing, food, and replacing what was stolen.

Their family are resilient, but they need our help to get back on their feet. We’re hoping to raise funds to provide them with a safe place to stay, essential items for the kids, food, and support to replace what was lost. They are also seeking a new three bedroom apartment to rent nearby in Noe Valley. Your donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in helping them rebuild after this painful setback.
