Our beloved Mignon ruptured her Cranial Cruciate Ligament this week and requires another orthopedic surgery. The vet mentioned this condition can be genetic with certain breeds and unfortunately, with her history of physical trauma it's an unknown risk we took in embracing her into our family.

For those of you who don't know us....Mignon is a 12 y/o boxer/pit mix. We found her about 10 years ago, roaming our neighborhood, with two broken legs and completely emaciated. We think either someone dumped her from a car or she was struck by a car. With the generous love and support of our friends and family, we were able to take her in and provide her with the extensive orthopedic surgery she required for survival.

She's been oloyal, sweet, caring, fun furry friend ever since! We know Mignon still has more life to live and want to help her live it as comfortably as possible. Mignon is a friend to peacocks and rats. She loves to chase cats and squirrels. She enjoys good company, short walks, and swims at the lake. She is not a fan of storms.
