Help Michelle Buchanan's Family with Expenses

On July 4th, 2024, Michelle Buchanan (born August 22, 1966) was admitted to the hospital. Since then, she has been sedated with a breathing tube in place, and undergoing dialysis and blood treatments due to multiple organ failure. Unfortunately, her condition was terminal and she passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024 surrounded by all three of her children. Without insurance to cover medical or memorial expenses, we are hoping to come together to minimize any financial burdens that her family will face during this time.

Michelle was defined by her unwavering dedication to her family, her nurturing spirit, and her love for music and animals. She had a special way of bringing unfiltered joy and endless laughter into any room she entered, having a personality that was the perfect mixture of sarcasm, wit, and warmth. She was the type of person who never missed a birthday and always called you by a nickname she came up with years ago that just so happened to stick. Her ability to make anyone feel special and to turn ordinary moments into core memories is the true essence of her character.

In 1987, Michelle married Jeff Buchanan. Together, they raised three beautiful, successful children and built a life filled with happiness, faith, love, and lots of laughs. Jeff passed away in 2013 after his battle with cancer, and their family finds comfort in knowing they are now reunited in Heaven. Michelle was a resilient woman and a cherished mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She is survived by her children: Hannah Buchanan (35), Hunter Buchanan (31), and Hart Buchanan (31), as well as her mother and brother, Shirley and Anthony Yarbrough.
