El 12 de septiembre, mi esposo, Jorge Rodríguez, tuvo una entrevista con inmigración. Fue pensando que todo iba a estar bien, pero desafortunadamente no fue así. El entrevistador lo engañó, haciéndole creer que ya habían terminado su entrevista y que podría irse con una simple copia de su identificación. Sin embargo, cuando llegaron a donde se suponía que estaba la fotocopiadora, ICE ya lo estaba esperando. Le dijeron a su abogado que solo lo interrogarían, no lo arrestarían. Mi familia y yo esperamos dos horas para obtener información, pero para cuando supimos algo sobre dónde podría estar, llamó diciendo que había sido detenido oficialmente. A la mañana siguiente nos enteramos de que lo habían trasladado al centro de detención de Adelanto. Ahora estamos tratando de conseguir ayuda de un abogado para que me ayude a recuperar a mi esposo. Mis hijos necesitan a su padre. Lamentablemente, los honorarios del abogado y todo lo que conlleva son muy caros, así que pedimos cualquier ayuda. Gracias.

On September 12th my husband Jorge Rodriguez had an interview with immigration. He went in thinking everything was going to be fine, unfortunately that was not the case. The interviewer tricked him and made him believe they were already done with his interview and he was going to be able to leave after a simple copy of his identification. However, when they arrived to where the copier was supposed to be, ICE was already waiting for him. They told his lawyer he was only going to be questioned and not arrested. My family and I waited 2 hours for any information but by the time we found anything out about where he could be, he called saying he had been officially detained. The next morning we found out that he had been transferred to Adelanto detention center. Now we are trying to get help from a lawyer to help me get my husband back. My children need their father. Unfortunately the lawyer fees and everything that come with this are very expensive so we are asking for any little bit of help. Thank you.
