Help Me Through Unexpected Revision for Top Surgery and Moving Costs

What Happened

Earlier this year, I had top surgery—a procedure I'd saved for and planned for carefully. Unfortunately, complications occurred during the surgery, and my surgeon has acknowledged that the procedure needs to be fully redone. This wasn't something I could have anticipated or prevented, but now I'm facing a complete revision surgery.

The Challenge

The revision surgery is scheduled for November 17th, and it's happening during the exact same month I'm moving. I don't have flexibility on either timeline—the surgery date was determined by medical necessity and my surgeon's schedule, and my moving date is locked in by my lease.

While my insurance is covering a portion of the revision surgery, I'm still facing out-of-pocket costs including:

Medical expenses and co-pays (my first surgery came to under $1,000 in out-of-pocket costs, but this is a more extensive revision)

Recovery supplies and medical necessities

Co-pays for medically necessary massage therapy and physical therapy to address complications from the first surgery (specifically tied to lymphatic massage)

Professional movers ($1,000) since I physically won't be able to move myself during recovery

General recovery expenses while I'm taking time off work

What I'm Asking For
