Lavender Youth Recreation & Information Center (LYRIC) has been a beacon for queer youth & their allies to congregate, plan activities & events, or even just a place to hang out.
While I was talking with Juanita More about whom to celebrate for my birthday on November 23rd, right away she suggested LYRIC. After 11 years at Community United Against Violence, I collaborated with folks from LYRIC in developing an LGBTQ Speakers Bureau. LYRIC is a wonderful org, & I hope you will join me in making a donation.
